Hanji Table

Drawing from East Asian architectural elements and joinery techniques, the Hanji Table is a fusion of Japanese and Korean traditional design and western minimalism. The design features slatted side walls, exposed mortice & tenon joinery, and the use of Hanji paper for panelling. Constructed from hard maple, the design is meant to evoke a feeling of airiness while feeling sturdy.
